ASSCR Catalyst Prize

Highlighting exceptional contributions in research

The Catalyst Prize recognises an exceptional research team within the Australasian stem cell community that demonstrates outstanding innovation, collaboration and transformative impact. This biennial prize celebrates excellence in stem cell research across both national and international contexts, highlighting contributions that have already advanced or are expected to advance the field over a five-year timeframe.

Key Details for the ASSCR Catalyst Prize

The Catalyst Prize is open to collaborative teams, including early and mid-career researchers, whose work exemplifies scientific excellence and the potential to drive meaningful impact and innovation in stem cell science.

Nominated teams must consist of 3 to 10 members and include at least one PhD student or early career researcher. The nominated team representative must be a current ASSCR member with at least 12 months of membership during the assessment period.
