Presenter Information

Please note that all presenters must be registered by the 15th October 2025 to able to present at the ASM. Please find below the information for platform and poster presentations.

Platform Presentations

Presentation Requirements: 

Platform presenters will have a maximum of 12 minutes to speak. We recommend no more than 15 slides, including acknowledgments. Following the presentation period, chairs will allow up to 3 minutes for questions. 

  • You are urged to strictly adhere to the time that you have been allocated for your presentation.

    • No personal computers will be permitted

It is advisable to check your slides on-site as early as possible in the program. Check-in is open early each day to allow everyone time to ensure their presentation runs smoothly. Anyone presenting in a morning session should review their slides the afternoon before, at the latest. Speakers presenting in afternoon sessions will be allowed to check their slides during a lunch break on the day of their presentation.

Speaker Support 

If you want to check your slides before your speaking slot, the Speaker Support Desk will be available at the rear of Ballroom during the following hours:

  • Monday 10 November 2025 – 09:00-17:30

  • Tuesday 11 November 2025 – 08:00-17:00

  • Wednesday 12 November 2025 – 08:30-14:30

  • * These times are subject to change

Poster Presentations - including Rapid Fire presentations

POSTER TEASERS

Presentation Requirements: 

Poster teaser presenters have a maximum of 2 minutes to present a single static slide (1 slide, no animations; videos are permitted if they auto-play). There will be no questions following the presentation period. 

    • Upload guidelines are within the form

    • No personal computers will be permitted

Speaker Support 

If you want to check your slides before your speaking slot, the Speaker Support Desk will be available at the rear of Ballroom during the following hours:

  • Monday 10 November 2025 – 09:00-17:30

  • Tuesday 11 November 2025 – 08:00-17:00

  • Wednesday 12 November 2025 – 08:30-14:30

Poster Requirements:
Posters must fit a display space of no more than 1 m wide x 1.2 m high (A0 portrait layout), including the heading. Velcro tabs will be provided to affix your poster to the board – pins must not be used.  

Hints and Tips:

  • Poster presentations should be well thought out and visually appealing, with a balance of text, graphics, and neutral space

  • The eye’s movement path through the poster should be natural (down columns and along rows)

  • Titles should be the same as the submitted abstract (see the program)

  • Include the name of the presenter(s) and each affiliation (institution or organisation) for all authors

  • Avoid using ALL-CAPITAL text as it is difficult to read

  • Any text should be brief, i.e. any description of methods should be simple and concise

Poster Number:
Poster presenters will be allocated their poster numbers via email in the coming weeks. These numbers will be how your poster is identified and should be noted prominently in your “Poster Teaser Slide”. 

Hanging Posters:

Posters will be located in the Vines Room at the National Wine Centre of Australia. They will be on display for the duration of the meeting and can be put up from the start of Registration on Monday 11th November from 11 am. All posters must be removed by the end of Lunch on Wednesday 13th November. 

Poster Presentation Times: 
You (or one of your fellow authors) will be required to be present at your poster during the designated poster sessions:

  1. Monday 10th November from 17:25-19:00 (odd poster numbers)

  2. Tuesday 11th November from 12:45-13:45 (event poster numbers)
